Sarah Burton, NEW CREATIVE Director at Alexander McQueen

This just in minutes ago, Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen's right hand woman has been named the new Creative director of Alexander McQueen. And Sarah had this to say ,

 Gucci Group which co-owns  51% Alexander McQueen believe Sarah is the best person for the job, given she'd worked with the late designer Alexander McQueen since 1996. She understands his vision. Well, we cannot wait to see what Sarah thinks up and delivers. She also happened to have attended Central St. Martins, McQueen's Alma mater. And in 2000, she was appointed Head of Women's design at Alexander McQueen in 2000. She definitely has the goods. congrats, love.
