"From one side of the house you see the moon rise, while from the other you see the sun, both at the same time", Phillip Johnson , owner and architect of this gorgeous glass house said of his Glass House. He constructed the house with glass which is supported by steel beams.

This is an architect's pilgrimage and has been for over 50 years. Phillip Johnson graduated from Harvard in 1930 and 19 years later showed the world of architecture why he was the messiah of architecture. He is often referred to as the "Philosopher Architect" and responsible for introducing revolutionary style of design to American architects,which in a nut shell meant utilizing use of glass and steel.
